London 2016

Coffee Masters was hosted for the first time at The London Coffee Festival 2015, and saw 20 top baristas (16 finalists, plus 4 wildcards) descend on London from across the world, travelling as far afield as Australia, Indonesia, Poland and Germany.

 

After an intense four days of competition, watched by a captivated audience in the festival’s Showroom, it all came down to an exciting final round between James Bailey from Workshop Coffee Co. and Patrik Rolf Karlsson from Five Elephant. Once all of the coffee was served, the audience and finalists waited with baited breath until the judges revealed that James Bailey was the first Coffee Master.

 

This year saw Patrik return, this time to go head-to-head with Coffee Masters New York 2015 champion, Ben Morrow. But, Ben did it again, winning the title of Coffee Masters London 2016 Champion. Congratulations Ben! Here’s the full line-up of contenders:
